Ariel is a native New Yorker residing in Manhattan. Raised in Chelsea, NYC, Ariel was exposed to many unique forms of movement training, including yoga, Eastern Dance, gymnastics and rock climbing at an early age. At age 14, Ariel underwent highly invasive spinal fusion surgery to correct scoliosis. Her mental and physical recovery from this event facilitated a deep respect and fascination for the human body and for those who work with the principles of anatomy and kinesiology. Throughout the years, Ariel has added with many vocations to her repertoire: pin-up model, go-go dancer, makeup artist, Esthetician and Laser Technician. In 2007, she began taking pole classes to add some pizazz to her go-go routine, she soon became enamored with the sport. Pole changed the trajectory and meaning of Ariel's life, it motivated her to become a Group Fitness instructor and personal trainer, and finally satisfied her desire to work with the body and its movements. These days, Ariel teaches and practices pole daily along with several other forms of movement training, including Kettlebells, TRX and Indoor Cycling. She performs at several venues around the city and can be spotted poling around the streets of NYC on the back of a contraption called Pole Rider.
